UNILORIN Freshers Orientation Programme 2021/2022

This is to inform all the students and staffs of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) of the three (3) days orientation programme that will take place in the institution for both old and new students of the institution for the 2021/2022 academic session.

The management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has announced the setup of a three days orientation programme, to welcome and guide all the fresh students of the institution for the 2021/2022 academic session from the 16 faculties of the institution. The event is organized by the Student Affairs Unit in partnership with the Students Union designed to give a warm welcome and also to lead, guide and direct the new students admitted into the institution.

The orientation program will take place at the University Auditorium, with different faculties scheduled to attend on different days. The first day is dedicated to students from the Faculties of Agriculture, Education, Engineering & Technology, Communication & Information Sciences, and Law. The second day focuses on students from the Faculties of Clinical Sciences, Basic Medical Sciences, Basic Clinical Sciences, Life Sciences, and Veterinary Medicine. The third and final day is for students from the Faculties of Social Sciences, Management Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Physical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, and Arts.

To ensure full participation, the university has declared the scheduled days as lecture-free for the concerned faculties. All new students are required to attend the orientation program as it is an essential part of their integration into the university community.
