Petroleum Training Institute (PTI), is inviting all interested candidates to apply for its Scientific Glass Blowing Certificate Courses. Courses offered includes Basic, Course 1 & 11 with varying duration and fees. The application form will be available for sale from August 1st, 2023. Pay via PTI’s Remita or ICT Centre. This is to inform the general public all interested and suitably qualified candidates that the Petroleum Training Institute (PTI) has commenced its Scientific Glass Blowing Certificate Courses, and all are invited to apply.
Glass has been moulded, shaped, and crafted into beautiful forms for centuries. But to merge science with the art of glass blowing is truly an exceptional skill. For those intrigued by this fusion and eager to learn, here’s an opportunity that’s too good to pass!
Courses Offered in Scientific Glass Blowing
PTI has tailored a diverse range of courses to cater to everyone from beginners to advanced learners:
- Basic Certificate Course: Spanning over 4 months, this course is a perfect initiation into the world of scientific glass blowing. It comes at a fee of N145,000 per participant.
- Certificate Course I: A more intensive 6-month programme, this course is priced at N280,000 per participant.
- Certificate Course II: For those aiming for an advanced understanding, this 6-month course, priced at N398,000 per participant, is the ideal choice.
- Fabrication / Repair & Maintenance: A specialised segment focusing on the practical aspects of glass blowing.
How to Apply?
Start Date: Get ready as the sales of forms kick off on 1st August 2023.
Payment Details: Payments can conveniently be made into the PTI Remita account. Alternatively, for those near the institute, payments can also be made at the PTI ICT Centre.
Acceptance Fee: There’s an acceptance fee of N10,000 for each certificate course. This is separate from the course fee mentioned above.
Procuring the Application Form: Once the payment is made, aspiring participants can collect the application forms from PTI’s Skills Development Academy (SDA) located in Osubi. Do ensure you carry evidence of your payment when heading out to get the form.
