This is to inform the general public and all interested and suitably qualified candidates that the management of the College of Nursing Sciences, Katsina State (CONSKAT) has commenced the sales of its admission form for the 2023/2024 academic session into its Basic Nursing, Basic Midwifery (Direct Entry) and Community Midwifery programmes. Admission Eligibility for CONSKAT Basic and Community Midwifery Programmes
Basic Midwifery [Direct Entry]
- Requirement: Registration and licensing as Registered Community Midwives by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.
Basic Midwifery [DIRECT ENTRY] and Community Midwifery
- Indigenes Only: Applicants must be indigenes of Katsina State.
Community Midwifery
- Academic Requirements: Minimum of four (4) credits in not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language, Biology, and any two of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, and/or NABTEB.
Basic Midwifery and Direct Entry
- Academic Requirements: At least five (5) credits in not more than two (2) sittings, including English Language, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO, and/or all in NABTEB.
- Awaiting Results: Note that awaiting results are NOT ACCEPTED.
