The authority of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN), invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the following Sandwich Degree Programmes of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka for the 2024 session.Available in Nsukka, Owerri, and Nsugbe, these programmes offer a variety of courses in Education, Vocational & Technical Education, and other degree programmes. With flexible 4-year and 5-year options.
The management of the institution broke this news on their portal asking all aspiring students to purchase the form as it is available online in the school portal. However, interested applicants can also check out the available courses and requirements on this site before purchasing the form.
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into its Sandwich Degree programmes on full-time for the 2024 academic year.

UNN Sandwich Degree Programmes Entry Requirements
UNN Sandwich Degree Programmes Entry Requirements
- The 4-Year Sandwich Degree Programme is open to candidates with a minimum of Merit in NCE from a recognized institution or a minimum of Merit in National Diploma. Applicants must also possess a minimum of five credit level passes at the O’ level, including Mathematics and English Language.
- The 5-Year Sandwich Degree Programme is designed for candidates with a pass in NCE and five credit level passes in O’ Level or its equivalent. Alternatively, applicants must have five credit level passes in SSCE O’ Level, including Mathematics and English.
How to Apply for UNN Sandwich Degree Admission Form
All candidates who wish to apply for the Programmes listed above should do so through JAMB (state office) and make the University of Nigeria, Nsukka their first choice institution. This is to enable JAMB to capture details of the candidates, assign their registration numbers and make them available in JAMB CAPS for the University to be able to download their lists.
After the JAMB registration, the candidate returns to the University of Nigeria portal/website and generate the “Sandwich Registration Invoice” and proceed to any Commercial Bank and pay the processing fee of N5,000.00 (five thousand naira only) for the 4-year programme and N10,000.00 (ten thousand naira only) for the 5-year programme, respectively. The processing fee is payable to the University’s Account via the Remita platform.
After the payment, the candidate returns to the University of Nigeria portal and click on Sandwich Registration and complete the Verification Form on-line; and thereafter prints out the completed Registration Form and submits it with academic credentials to the Sandwich and Evening Programmes Unit Office of the Registry Department.
Please note that candidates that apply for the 5-Year Degree Programme will be required to write an aptitude test in the University.
