UNN Cancels 2023/2024 Post-UTME Screening
University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) has announced that its Post-UTME screening Exercise for the 2023/2024 academic session which was scheduled to for October, 2023 has been cancelled. The changes has occurred due to some factors, challenges and logistical consideration.
The management of the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) wishes to inform the general public and all aspiring candidates of the institution that its Post-UTME Screening Exercise for the 2023/2024 academic session which was initially scheduled to hold on from Tuesday, 3rd October to Friday, 18th October, 2023 has been cancelled due to some challenges.
Rationalising the Abrupt Decision
The university management has provided an explanation for this unforeseen decision, citing prevailing uncertainties and logistical difficulties associated with travel from various regions of the country under the current challenging circumstances.
UNN’s Updated Approach: Replacing Post-UTME Screening
The Management has opted for a different approach to student assessment for the upcoming academic session. Instead of the previously scheduled Post-UTME Computer-Based Test (CBT), the Screening Exercise will now be conducted through an evaluation of verified JAMB UTME, O’ Level, and Direct Entry results.
Critical Information for Prospective Students
It is imperative for applicants to note that failure to upload the verified O’ Level results within the stipulated timeline on JAMB CAPS will result in automatic disqualification for admission consideration.
Maintained Consistency on Other Registration Details
While there may have been a significant change in the screening process, other details related to registration for O’ Level and Direct Entry results on the UNN portal remain consistent, as initially published on the university’s official website.
