University College Hospital (UCH) Ibadan HND Admission Form 2023/2024
University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, School of Health Information Management (SHIM) has announced the commencement of the sale of its application for admission into its Higher National Diploma (HND) programme for the 2023/2024 academic session. The eligibility of candidates is based on Academic Qualifications, CBT Performance, an Oral Interview and Certificate Authenticity.
The University College Hospital (UCH), Ibadan, School of Health Information Management (SHIM) is inviting applications for admission from all interested and eligible candidates into its Higher National Diploma (HND) programme for the 2023/2024 academic session. The programme is a non-residential, two-years course and will be commencing from October 2023.
Programme Overview
The Two-Year Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme in Health Information Management is scheduled to commence in October 2023. The course is non-residential and provides an advanced level of training for students in the field of Health Information Management.
Eligibility for UCH Ibadan SHIM HND Programme
Candidates will be selected based on good academic qualifications, excellent performance in the computer-based test (CBT), and oral interview, along with the presentation of relevant ORIGINAL CERTIFICATES.
It is important to note that ONLY candidates with a MERIT or PASS in National Diploma (ND) should apply and they MUST have an ND practicing license or at least 3 years of working experience.
The Computer Based Test (CBT) for HND will cover the following subjects:
- Health Records Management
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Clinical Coding
- Biostatistics
- Computer Science
- Health Planning Management
Please note that pregnancy is not allowed during the training. Furthermore, selected candidates will be required to undergo and pass a medical examination after admission.
Application Process
Interested applicants should pay a non-refundable application and screening fee of N10,000 into the TSA ACCOUNT (TSA/UCH/SHIM/ADMISSION FORM) at any commercial bank.
