The 2022–23 Premier League will be up and running from the 31st season of the Premier League, and this will be the 124th season of top-flight English football overall.

HOW WILL THE WORLD CUP IMPACT THE SEASON?

The 2022 World Cup is scheduled to start on November 18 until December 18.

The premier league will still be up and running with the last fixtures expected to be on November 13.

    “If the UEFA Champions League or UEFA Europa League titleholder qualifies for the UEFA Europa League or UEFA Europa Conference League through one of its domestic competitions, the number of places to which its association is entitled in the UEFA Europa League or UEFA Europa Conference League is decreased by one.”

When will the 2022/23 Premier League season finish?

The final day of the season is scheduled for Sunday, May 28, 2023. 

NEW SUBSTITUTION RULES:
The 2022/2023 season will allow five substitutes during a match, and three pauses of play will be added to the half-time interval. Nine substitutes will still be allowed on the bench.
