The management of the Nigerian Army University Biu (NAUB) has released the revised academic calendar for the completion of the first and second semester, 2023/2024 academic session.

FIRST SEMESTER:

  • Registration of Fresh Students › Mon 3rd Sat – 15th Apr, 2023, running for two (2) weeks.
  • Late Registration with Fine for Fresh Students › Mon 17th – Sat 22nd Apr, 2023, running for one (1) week.
  • Registration of Returning Students › Mon 17th – Sat 29th Apr, 2023, running for two (2) weeks.
  • Matriculation › Tue 25th April, 2023.
  • Orientation for Fresh Students › Wed 26th & Thu 27th Apr, 2023, for two (2) days.
  • Late Registration with Fine for Returning Students › Mon 1st – Sat 6th May, 2023, running for one (1) week.
  • Lectures (Fresh & Returning Students) › Tue 2nd May – Sat 15th Jul, 2023, running for eleven (11) weeks.
  • Add and Drop (All Students) › Mon 22nd – Fri 26th May, 2023, running for one (1) week.
  • Revision >Mon 17th – Sat 22nd Jul, 2023, running for one (1) week.
  • First Semester Examination › Mon 24th Jul – Sat 12th Aug, 2023, running for three (3) weeks.
  • First Semester Break › Mon 14th Aug – Sat 2nd Sep, 2023, running for three (3) weeks.
  • SIWES II › Mon 28th Aug 2023 – 23rd Feb. 2024, running for six (6) months
  • Marking of Examination Scripts › Mon 14th Aug – Fri 25th Aug, 2023, running for two (2) weeks.
  • Departmental Meetings on Examination>Mon 28th Aug – Fri 1st Sep, 2023, running for one (1) week.
  • Faculty Board Meetings on Examination>Mon 4th – Fri 8th Sep, 2023, running for one (1) week.
  • SBC Meeting on Examinations › Mon 11th & Tue 12th Sep, 2023, for two (2) days.
  • Senate Meeting on Examinations › Thu 14th Sep, 2023.

SECOND SEMESTER:

  • Resumption (All Students) › Mon 11th Sep, 2023.
  • Lectures › Mon 11th Sep – Sat 25th Nov, 2023, running for eleven (11) weeks.
  • Convocation>Sat 28th Oct, 2023.
  • Revision › Mon 27th Nov – Sat 2nd Dec, 2023, running for one (1) week.
  • Second Semester Examination › Mon 4th – Sat 23rd Dec, 2023, running for three (3) weeks.
  • Second Semester Break (Students) › Sun 24th Dec 2023 – Fri 8th Mar, 2024, running for eleven (11) weeks.
  • SIWES I › Wed 27th Dec, 2023 – Fri 8th Mar, 2024, running for twelve (12) weeks.

  • Academic Staff Annual Leave › Mon 22nd Jan – Fri 1st Mar, 2024, for thirty (30) days.
