Detailed Schedule of the Academic Calendar
First Semester 2023/2024:
- Online Payments Begin:
Starting Tuesday, 7th May 2024, students can initiate payment of outstanding charges and reparations. - Submission of Undertakings:
This crucial step will be from Tuesday, 7th May to Tuesday, 14th May 2024. - Return to Campus:
Students are to return to campus on Sunday, 19th May 2024. - Biometric Capture:
From Monday, 20th May to Thursday, 23rd May 2024, students who haven’t completed biometric capture must do so. - First Semester Examinations:
These will be held from Monday, 27th May to Saturday, 15th June 2024. - First Semester Break:
Scheduled from Sunday, 16th June to Saturday, 22nd June 2024.
Second Semester 2023/2024:
- Return for Second Semester:
Students should return on Sunday, 23rd June 2024, ready for the new semester. - Lectures and Registration:
Lectures start with registration on Monday, 24th June 2024, and regular registration ends on Friday, 28th June 2024. - Late Registration/Add/Drop:
From Friday, 12th July to Friday, 19th July 2024, students can still register late or apply for excess credit load. - Student Union Activities:
Planned from Monday, 12th August to Friday, 16th August 2024. - Lectures End:
Lectures conclude on Friday, 30th August 2024. - Revision:
Students will have a week of revision from Monday, 2nd September to Friday, 6th September 2024. - Second Semester Examination:
This critical assessment period will last from Monday, 9th September to Friday, 27th September 2024. - Vacation of Campus:
Non-graduating students should vacate the campus on Friday, 27th September 2024, marking the end of the 2023/2024 academic session. - External Examination:
Scheduled from Monday, 30th September to Friday, 4th October 2024. - Consideration of Results:
From Monday, 7th October to Friday, 11th October 2024, results will be reviewed. - Resumption of the New Academic Session:
The 2024/2025 academic session starts on Sunday, 3rd November 2024.
