Following a tripartite agreement between China-Africa Lekki Investment Limited, the Lagos State Government, and Lekki Worldwide Investment Limited, the Lagos Free Trade Zone, also known as Lekki Free Zone, was established in 2006 with the goal of luring new enterprises and foreign investment.
