Kogi State Poly Admission into New ND Programmes 2023/2024
Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja has announced the commencement of the sale of its application form for admission into its new National Diploma (ND) programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session. The new programmes are engineering courses. To be eligible to apply candidates must have scored a minimum of 100 in the UTME and also a specific O’level requirements for each courses.
The management of the Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja wishes to inform the general public of the inclusion of New academic programmes, the new academic programmes will commence with the 2023/2024 academic session.
The registration cost is #2,000.00 (Two Thousand Naira), only. During registration candidates are to ensure accurate O’level uploads and provide functional contact details for seamless communication regarding the screening process.

a. ND Agricultural & Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology & ND Horticultural Technology
- UTME Score: A minimum of 100 in the 2023 UTME.
- Academic Credentials: Five credit level passes in GCE “O” level or SSCE across two sittings maximum. This should encompass Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Biology/Agricultural Science or Chemistry and one other relevant subject.
b. ND Mechatronic Engineering Technology
- UTME Score: A minimum of 100 in the 2023 UTME.
- Academic Credentials: Five credit level passes are a must. The subjects to focus on are Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, and an additional science subject. The options include Biology, Agricultural Science, Metal Work, Auto-mechanics, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity, and Technical Drawing.
c. ND Computer Engineering Technology
- UTME Score: At least 100 in the 2023 UTME.
- Academic Credentials: Five credit passes are required across a maximum of two sittings. Essential subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry. Plus, select one from the likes of Metal Work, Woodwork, Technical Drawing, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity, and several others.
