Awards offered by Australia for African Nations include:
Australian Awards scholarships to pursue further degree studies at the Masters level in Australia
Australia Awards Short Courses to pursue short-term, tailored technical training programs in a variety of development-oriented fields, in Australia and/or in Africa.
Applicants must first fulfill the qualifying criteria of their nation to be eligible for a Master’s Scholarship or Short Course Grant.
Applicant must be Citizens of any eligible African country
Minimum academic requirement: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
All candidates have Mid-level to senior-level professional, currently employed in a relevant field
Candidates must be at least 25 years and not older than 55 years by 30 June 2022.
Applicants must be at least 25 years of age at the date of registration, and not more than 52 years.
Candidate must Meet the relevant post-graduate work experience requirements
Demonstrate a strong view of how the information learned by the scholarship can be used to enhance legislation, procedure or change in your country of origin
Satisfactory English skills allowing full participation in an English-language training course
Satisfy all Australian Government criteria for sufficient student visas (subclass 500)
