Ade Love worked in the entertainment industry from 1966 until his death in 1996; he appeared in the movies Taxi Driver and Ajani Ogun, both of which were released in 1976. The other siblings of Moji Afolayan, Kunle Afolayan, Aremu Afolayan, and Toyin Afolayan—also known as Lola Idije—also work in the entertainment industry. Gabriel is the last of his parents’ children.

Gabriel Afolayan completed his education in elementary and secondary schools and went on to earn a bachelor’s degree. Gabriel Afolayan made the decision to hone his acting abilities while still a teenager and enrolled in secondary school, where he took part in several drama groups.
