The management of the Federal College of Education (FCE), Zaria wishes to notify the general public and all the students who has graduated from the institution that the issuance procedures for the Nigerian Certificate of Education (NCE) Certificates of graduates for the 2023/2024 academic session has commenced.
Certificate Issuance Announcement
For those who have triumphed over the challenges and successfully graduated, it’s crucial to note that the college has initiated the process of distributing your well-deserved certificates. However, an essential prerequisite was that all concerned students were to update their bio-data at the MIS Unit of the College. This update ensures that your certificate is printed with all necessary information, thus avoiding any future discrepancies.
NOTE: Only the certificates of students who have completed their courses successfully and updated their bio-data will be printed and made available for collection.

Step-by-Step Guide to Collecting Your Certificate
Collecting your NCE certificate involves a series of steps that ensure a smooth and efficient process. Here’s what you need to do:
- Certificate Processing Fee Payment: Begin by paying your Certificate Processing Fee at the College Bank, known as ZAFEC. The processing fee is set at ₦2,500, with an additional Alumni Fee of ₦1,000.
- Bursary Department Visit: With your payment teller in hand, proceed to the Bursary Department. Here, your payment will be confirmed, and you’ll be issued a receipt.
- Writing a Request Letter: You are required to write a request letter addressed to the Registrar via the Head of Examination and Records for the collection of your NCE Certificate. You can find the format for this letter displayed on notice boards at the Record Section in the Academic Office.
- Documents for Collection: When you head to the Records Section in the Academic Office to collect your certificate, ensure you carry the following:
- Acknowledgement/Congratulatory letter printed at the College CBT Centre.
- Receipts for the Certificate Processing Fee Payment.
- The request letter you have written.
- Your School Identity Card.
- Your Statement of Result, if previously collected.
