General Entry Requirements:

• No age limit, as long as the candidate meets the basic entry qualifications.
• Mature, disciplined individuals with good health, including physical, mental, social, spiritual, cultural, and moral aspects.

1. HND Environmental Health Technology (HND EHT) – 4 years (eight semesters) with Supervised Industrial Work Experience (SIWES) and one-year internship (Post ND)
2. Environmental Health Technician (Diploma) EVT – 3 years (Six Semesters)
3. Health Education and Promotion (Certificate) – 2 years (Four Semesters)

Entry Requirements:

• 5 credit level passes in NECO/SSCE etc. in English, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics (no more than two sittings).
• At least 4 credit level passes and 1 ordinary pass in WAEC/NECO, including Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, Physics, and English Language; minimum pass in Mathematics required.
• At least 4 credit level passes in WAEC/NECO, including English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics/Chemistry, and one other subject.

DEPARTMENT: Community Health

1. Community Health Extension Worker (C.H.E.W) – 3 years (Six Semesters)
2. Junior Community Health Extension Worker (J.C.H.E.W) – 2 years (Four Semesters)

Entry Requirements:

• 5 credit level passes in SSCE/WAEC/NECO/GCE ‘O’ level in English, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, and two subjects chosen from Chemistry, Physics, Geography, Food and Nutrition, and Agric Science.
• At least 5 ordinary passes in NECO/WAEC ‘O’ level (no more than 2 sittings), including English, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, and any other two passes (excluding Yoruba, Hausa, Igbo, and Religious studies).

DEPARTMENT: Health Information Management

1. Professional Diploma (PD) – 3 years (Six Semesters)
2. National Diploma (ND) – 2 years (Four Semesters)

Entry Requirements:

• WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO: 5 Credit level passes in English Language, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Physics, and Chemistry.

DEPARTMENT: Dental Health

1. Dental Therapy – 4 years (Eight Semesters)

Entry Requirements:

• WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO: 5 Credit level passes (no more than 2 sittings) in English, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics.

DEPARTMENT: Pharmaceutical Studies

1. Pharmacy Technician – 3 years (Six Semesters)

Entry Requirements:

• WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO or equivalent: 5 Credit level passes (no more than 2 sittings, within a 5-year period before enrolling with the Pharmaceutical Council of Nigeria) in English, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Physics, and Chemistry.

DEPARTMENT: Medical Laboratory Sciences

1. Medical Laboratory Technician – 3 years (Six Semesters)

Entry Requirements:

• WAEC/GCE/SSCE/NECO: 5 Credit level passes (no more than 2 sittings) in English, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and Physics. The age of the certificate used for admission must not exceed 5 years at the time of enrollment with the Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

DEPARTMENT: General Health Studies

1. General Health Technician – 2 years (Four Semesters)
2. Health Assistant – 2 years (Four Semesters)

Entry Requirements:

• 5 credit passes in GCE/WAEC/SSCE/NECO (no more than 2 sittings) in English, Mathematics, Biology/Health Science, Chemistry, and at least a pass in Physics.
• Health Assistant Certificate with at least 4 years of experience for those who completed a 1-year Health Assistant program OR Health Assistant Certificate with at least 1 year of experience for those who completed a 2-year Health Assistant program. Alternatively, any 5 passes in NECO or WAEC.
