Students at Nasarawa State University have protested the fact that nothing has been done to stop armed robbers from frightening students in their dormitories for over a month.
It was discovered that the robbers typically storm the students’ dormitory in masse, break their doors in order to gain entry, and then rape, assault, and steal their stuff.
On the evening of Saturday, November 19, a recent attack happened, leaving several pupils bleeding from their injuries. The aftermath of this attack was captured on film at the scene of the attack and disseminated. The footage depicts numerous students with injuries and a blood-splattered room.
Despite alerting the school administration and the authorities to the attacks, the students have accused them of passivity.
