EKSU Announces Two-Week Suspension of Academic Activities

This is to inform the entire students and staffs of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti that the managements of the institution has announced that all academic activities be suspended for an interval of two weeks commencing from Tuesday, 11th April, 2023. All students of the institution are advised to live the school premises with immediate effect. Any students found loitering around the campus premises during the suspension period is at self risk. And as such parents and guardian are advised to invite their wards home.

EKSU Suspension of Academic Activities

The Vice Chancellor, Professor Edward Olanipekun, of the Ekiti State University (EKSU), Ado-Ekiti on behalf of the university Senate. wishes to notify its students of the suspension of all academic activities in the school campus starting from Tuesday, 11th April, 2023 and it will be running for an interval of two weeks. Students, staffs, parents and guardian are advised to treat notice with importance.

Suspension of Academic Activities:

According to the press release issued by the Directorate of Information & Corporate Affairs, all academic activities on campus are suspended for a period of two weeks. The suspension is effective immediately, beginning on the 11th of April, 2023.

Students Ordered to Vacate Campus:

All students of Ekiti State University are required to leave the campus premises at once. No students should be seen within the campus premises for the entire two-week suspension period. This measure has been implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of all students.

Parents and Guardians Advised to Invite Their Wards Home:

Parents and guardians are encouraged to invite their wards home immediately. As students have been ordered to vacate the campus, it is crucial for parents and guardians to ensure their children are safely off the premises and accounted for during this time.

Warning to Students Wandering Around Campus:

Any student found wandering around the university premises during the suspension period does so at his/her own risk. The university will not be held responsible for any incidents that may occur during this time.
