NUC Re-accredits 12 KWASU Programmes
The National Universities Commission (NUC) has fully re-accredited twelve (12) programmes to the Kwara State University (KWASU).
The acting Vice-Chancellor in his speech commended the effort and commitments of the stakeholders and applauded all the students and staffs of the institution he said that this is yet another for them all.
Kwara State University (KWASU) announces yet another height of great achievement as the National Universities Commission (NUC) has re-accredited twelve (12) programmes. The accreditation serves as a betterment to the institution in different areas, and are willing to out more of it best efforts.
KWASU’s Re-accreditation Success
In the 2022 November/December round of accreditation exercises, KWASU presented 12 programmes for re-accreditation. The NUC, in a notice dated March 9, 2023, granted a 100% pass mark to all of the submitted programmes. The notice, addressed to the Visitor to the University and Governor of Kwara State, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, was signed by the Deputy Director of Programme Accreditation at NUC, Architect S.S. Ikani.

Acting Vice-Chancellor’s Reaction
Professor Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, the Acting Vice-Chancellor of Kwara State University, expressed his delight at the institution’s success. He attributed this achievement to the quality of instruction and facilities available at the university. Prof. Jimoh praised the dedication and commitment of all stakeholders, including staff and students, and encouraged them to continue making strides in various areas.
With increased expectations from society, Prof. Jimoh urged stakeholders to double their efforts and strive for even greater successes that will contribute to the development of Kwara State. He also extended his congratulations to Governor AbdulRazaq and Commissioner of Tertiary Education, Dr. Afees Abolore, acknowledging their unwavering support to the institution.
