Trinity University Gets Full NUC Accreditation for 8 Programmes
Trinity University Nigeria has announced their victory as they have gotten National Universities Commission (NUC) full accreditation for Eight (8) new programmes. The accredited programmes are Nursing Science, Business Administration, Political Science, Medical Laboratory Science, Economics, Accounting, International Relation and Marketing.
The confirmation of the accreditation by the NUC was gotten in a letter signed by the NUC Deputy Director, programmes accreditation, S. S. Ikani, on behalf of the executive secretary, Prof. Abubakar Rasheed, this was stated by Vice Chancellor of the Institution in person of Prof. Charles Ayo.
The managements of the Trinity University Nigeria has stated that the full accreditation of eight programmes by te National Universities Commission (NUC) in 2022 has been one of the greatest height the institution has attained, and has also said that its a clear prove that that the institution has been carrying out its best in providing quality education and that its hard work from both Students, Staffs, Management and Board of Trustee’s has earned them the accreditation.
The Accreditation Process:
The accreditation panels from the NUC visited Trinity University’s campus in November and December 2022 to assess the eight programmes submitted for accreditation. After a thorough evaluation, the NUC found that all the programmes met the required standards, leading to their full accreditation.
In a statement by John Ashibuogwu, Head of Media and Publicity, he thanked the parents for their continued trust in the institution and acknowledged the role played by various stakeholders in making this achievement possible.
Before this recent accreditation, Trinity University had already recorded full accreditation for four other programmes, including Computer Science, Information Technology, Microbiology, and Mass Communication. This further strengthens the institution’s reputation for academic excellence.
