FUTO warns against unruly celebration on completion of final year exams

This is to bring your attention to how excited students are now, especially when they finish their final exams for the second semester. Student often get so excited that they do things like pour water from sachets, drinks, or even poisonous chemicals on themselves.

This unruly behaviour does not only leave the university environment littered with empty sachets of water but often results in some students finding themselves in the hospitals to the embarrassment of both: University Management and Parents/Guardians. This jungle behaviour cannot be tolerated in a civilized environment like ours.

The University Management has frowned at this ugly development and has therefore directed that it should be put to a stop immediately. It is, therefore, an offence for any student or group of students to celebrate the end of examinations in this unruly manner and any student(s) caught will be dealt with severely. Deans and HODs will be held responsible for any breach of this directive.

Please let us keep our students safe and the environment clean.
