Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) has announced the commencement of the sale of its application form for admission into its Postgraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session. Candidates can either apply for Full-Time or Part-Time courses. The application form is available online via the JABU portal or at the specific centres after purchasing a draft for #10,000.00. to be eligible to apply for Master’s candidates must have specific O-level credits, a relevant undergraduate degree or PGD, and potential interviews. For PGD admissions, candidates must meet designated O-level and tertiary qualification requirements.

This is to inform the general public and all interested and suitably qualified candidates that the Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) has commenced the sale of its application form for admission into its Postgraduate programmes for the 2023/2024 academic session.

JABU Postgraduate Admission Requirements

Masters Programmes Requirements:

To be considered eligible for the Master degree programmes, candidates must fulfill the following:

Have five O level credits in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.
Hold a first degree in a related field either from JABU or any other recognized university. This degree should be a minimum of second class honours or a postgraduate diploma from any accredited institution with a CGPA of at least 4.0 on a 5 point scale.
Aspirants for the Food Science and Technology (Master of Science) should note that individuals with a minimum of second class lower division in disciplines such as Biochemistry, Microbiology, Agriculture, and Engineering may be considered. However, they may need to bridge certain deficiencies.
Individuals with a bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Actuarial Science might be considered for a Master of Business Administration, particularly with a focus on Insurance and Risk Management.
Those seeking a postgraduate degree in Architecture should have prior qualifications in the same field. Additionally, candidates not from JABU need to show evidence of at least six months of industrial training.
An oral or written interview might be part of the selection process.

Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) Requirements:

Candidates aiming for the Postgraduate Diploma must:

Secure five ‘O’ level credits in pertinent subjects, inclusive of English and Mathematics, in a maximum of two sittings.
Possess an HND or its equivalent in a related discipline from a recognized institution, or have a minimum of a Third Class Degree from a known university.

Application Procedure for JABU’s Postgraduate Programmes

Online Application:

Establish a student account by filling out your personal details and selecting the “Create Account” option. A valid email address is crucial for account activation.
Activate the account using the link sent to your email.
Log in with your credentials and fill in all necessary biodata. Ensure all documents are uploaded in JPEG format.
Stay updated by regularly checking your email for subsequent instructions regarding the screening date.

Physical Application:

Alternatively, prospective students can obtain physical application forms from JABU’s Academic Office located at kilometre 36, Ilesha Akure Road, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State, or from the following listed centres. A draft of ₦10,000 in favour of Joseph Ayo Babalola University is required, with the full names of applicants clearly written on the reverse side:
